WILHELM (WILLI) GUTSCHE It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Willi on Sunday, May 17, 2009 at Grace Hospital at the age of 81. Willi is survived by his loving wife Hildegard, son Gerald, sister Brigitte, brother Klaus, as well as cousins, nephews and nieces in Germany and many friends. Willi is predeceased by his son Willi Jr. and sister Gundula. Willi spent 19 years at Heritage Victoria Community Club, where he became known as The Iceman . Many friendships were established here. His coaching and time spent with youth helped mold many strong characters. Always a man of his word, Willi and his wife successfully operated Hilmar Venture until their retirement in 1995. Family and friends were always priority to Willi - always there when needed. His memory will remain a testimony to his life - true and clear. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Boniface Hospital, Pacemaker Clinic, 409 Tache Ave., Wpg., MB, R2H 9Z9, or to Grace Hospital, 300 Booth Dr., Wpg., MB, R3J 3M7. Memorial service will be held on Monday, June 1, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
